Claude Floyd Cooper born April 8, 1935 passed away on May 11, 2017 at the New York State Veterans home in Oxford. Claude was born in Norwich, NY and made his home there. Claude was proud of his duty in the United States Air Force. He was stationed overseas during the years of 1954 through 1962. Claude is predeceased by his daughter, Wendy Cooper. Wife, Josephine L. Cooper and grandson, Nicholas Cooper. Parent's, Marion and Claude Floyd Cooper and brother, Bobbie Cooper. Claude is survived by his children; Daughter, Dixie Cooper and son Mitchell George....

Claude Floyd Cooper born April 8, 1935 passed away on May 11, 2017 at the New York State Veterans home in Oxford. Claude was born in Norwich, NY and made his home there. Claude was proud of his duty in the United States Air Force. He was stationed overseas during the years of 1954 through 1962. Claude is predeceased by his daughter, Wendy Cooper. Wife, Josephine L. Cooper and grandson, Nicholas Cooper. Parent's, Marion and Claude Floyd Cooper and brother, Bobbie Cooper. Claude is survived by his children; Daughter, Dixie Cooper and son Mitchell George. Son, Claude Joseph Cooper and his wife Lori Cooper and their children, Kaylee, Courtney and Ryan Cooper. Daughter, Patricia Berg and husband Bruce Berg and children, Craig, Audrey and Quentin Cooper. Son Matthew Cooper and his partner, Holly Rocks and children, Jada Claire, Addison and Madeline Cooper. Claude is also survived by his loving sister, Regina Howes and her children and many grandchildren and Brother, Frederick Golby and family. Brother, Donald Cooper and his wife, Sandra and their children. Numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Claude loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. In his free time he enjoyed watching thoroughbred horse racing and watching sporting events. Many thanks to the staff and many friends at the New York State Oxford Veterans Home for their friendship and loving care throughout the years. A graveside service with military rites for Claude will be held on Friday, May 26, at 2 pm from the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are by the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home
